| Forewords from the Project Manager; “I welcome you to first true online Doctor Service in the World!” THIS IS FULLY WORKING DEMO - WE ARE NOT OPERATING AS YET! “Let me tell you a little bit of history of this project. As an engineer I spend most of my time in rural communities when offering my services to various mining companies in Western Australia. I have experienced myself how difficult it is to gain access to medical services from these remote areas and wanted to help so I came up with a solution. This was when idea of DocNet was born. Our company, Hoover Industries is financing development of DocNet as a non-profit project. Our aim is to equip every rural community across Australia with all common GP medical devices which non-medical personnel can operate with guidance from professionals through the Internet. We started from developing an affordable, yet high quality Ultrasound scanner and other medical devices suitable for networking and after that we built a Web server which allows everyone to be connected. DocNet was originally designed to operate “closed circuit” -only to connect these approximately 2500 communities to about 200 medical specialists across Australia, but while developing the script we decided to make it open for everyone Globally and use percentage of the consultation fees to finance this rural healthcare overhaul. As I see, this new online service proves that the Healthcare revolution has begun and subsequently it will change the way how medical services are delivered to people, wherever they are, around the clock. So why not get yourself your own account and enjoy being a pioneer in this revolution?” | ![]() Jack Hoover DocNet Project Manager NZCE, OMIEAust |

At the beginning of the DocNet almost no one has an account yet, so this is the time to do it. After 10-20 years from now nearly everyone has an account so there is less new customers to join. Let’s do some calculations to see what we can expect. According Kaiser Family Foundation (http://www.kff.org) year 2009 average American resident spent $8.160 USD for health care. Over 80% of that could have been done through the DocNet. We have to remember that these figures are likely to become even higher, because people would use the service more, when it is conveniently available. Ask yourself how often you were thinking of going to see Doctor, but didn't have time to do so? Let's make a bit pessimistic estimate and presume that this customer will use only 50% of statistical average. That equals $4.080USD per year. Your commission will be $40.06USD per year. That is nearly one Australian Dollar per week. It doesn't sound much, doesn't it? This is how your income starts growing. Every click through which lead to opening a new account will add one dollar per week to your income. All you need is 1200 clicks and you will earn same as average Engineer in Australia ($62.000 per year). To get to this level may take years to happen or maybe just a few days. It is all up to how many visitors your site will have. |
